With a built-in computer, you can program how the sharpening should be performed. In the first step, the existing profile is measured. This profile is then compared to the requested values. The sharpening is performed, and you get exactly the required profile with an accuracy of 0.011 mm. The length of the gliding surface and the requested placement is set with the memory cartridge, or manually, directly on the display. Up to 99 individual settings fit on one cartridge. The feature with the built-in diamond adjusts the radius and the sharpness of the grinding wheel. In addition, the display shows if the grinding wheel needs to be replaced, or if the skate blade is worn down.
